1. I am teaching myself to speak French. I'm getting there but it is so hard! What I need to do is find a reason to spend a year in France and that would do it.

2. I think that a great cheeseburger is one of the world's most perfect foods and when you pair it with an ice cold beer you have a total foodgasm.

3. I am crazy about tattoos and can't get enough of them. Most of them end up being concealed by clothes though so you may not even know they are there. I'm not like the guy who has leopard spots all over his face or anything though I do admire his, um, commitment.

4. I have wild crush on the guy who played the neighbor in American Beauty (you know the one making the videos). His real name is Wes Bentley. I haven't seen anything he's made since American beauty out of fear that it will somehow change him in my mind. So, I guess you would say that my real crush is on his character in American Beauty. Specifically, the famous plastic bag scene is what sealed it. It grabbed me so deeply and put words to so many of my own feelings that it left me breathless.

5. I started taking photographs when I was 15. I went to an art school here in Houston. It was kind of like "Fame" but we didn't spontaneously burst into song during the school day.

6. I have a really dry and sick sense of humor. There's not a whole lot that really offends me and I really love irreverence.

7. I have way too many impractical shoes.

8. I wear jeans every day. When I say every day, I really mean every day. I might own 2-3 skirts and absolutely NO shorts.

9. I love to go dancing. I like almost any type of dancing but especially swing, zydeco and country and western dancing.

10. I can't stop eating my 5 year old son's strawberry Batman fruit roll-ups. It's embarrassing and I have to keep replenishing them before he finds out that the box is empty.

11. Sometimes I fantasize about being in a rock band. Most of the time the fantasy is me on stage with Metallica. In the fantasy, I am a guitar goddess in leather pants and I am the only girl in the band.

12. Sometimes I also fantasize about being an incredible folk-type singer-songwriter who plays mad piano and writes incredibly poetic lyrics.

13. I read all of the Twilight series books in 10 days and went into post-twilight depression when I realized it was over.

14. Whenever my friend Danny and I photograph a wedding (we always photograph weddings together), I cry when the groom dances with his Mom. I instantly think of my two little boys and what it will be like for me when they get married. As far as I can tell, they might want to consider eloping or cutting out the Mom-Son dance because I'll probably be a hysterical mess.

15. Other than photography, I love to draw.

16. One of my big dreams is to have a book of my photography published.
