Amy first came to my studio for maternity pictures. This past week she brought in her anxiously awaited daughter Mia. Here are a few images from the session.

Peeking over her Mommy's shoulder.

After being very sweet and not fussing at all, Mia decided she was finished with us and the photo shoot. We did manage to calm her back down though with this position. I love the sense of scale between her and her Father. Isn't it amazing that we all start out so small?

Now go give your small (or not so small ones) a hug!
I had a few more shots from our White sale that didn't get on the blog the other day. I also had a session this morning with little Miss Margot (just love that name!). Enjoy!

caught in mid jump!

And now, Margot!

I love close up shots of faces.

More cuteness, silliness, color and kiddos!
Thanks everyone!
Our white sale was such a success the first time that we did it that we added two more days. Those 2 days filled up as well and we shot 22 sessions in 2 days! It was crazy, loud, funny, silly and exhausting. We had a great time. Here are just a few of the images from the 2 day event. I'll post more tomorrow. Enjoy!

Hope you enjoyed them! More to come very soon. Thanks everyone for coming and being a part of our event.
Great Fathers are such a wonderful thing. I also really appreciate Mothers who give their guys the space and the encouragement to be great Dads. Steven (my husband) is an amazing Father. He is totally in the fight alongside me and the kids adore him. Steven shines as a parent. He is gentle and sweet with them but manages to firm up and be more strict when he needs to be. He's actually better at that then I am. He's silly with the boys and takes the punches of parenting with an amazing stride. I'm so grateful. I can't imagine doing this incredible difficult job of parenting without him at my side.
This shot is from a session a week or so ago. The Mom kept saying that she wanted a shot of her little girl on her husband's shoulder because that is where she loved to hangout. It brought back a flood of memories for me. Sayer loved to sleep on Steven's chest. When I shot this, I could actually see this clear picture in my mind of Sayer's little face with his little mouth open completely asleep on Steven's chest. It's just going by so fast, where has 5 years gone?
What a beautiful picture!
