Sometimes you need a little Ferris Bueller...or SixteenCandles or maybe the Wedding Singer. I have a long list of my happy place movies. The kind that make me smile no matter what's going on. Sick in bed with a wicked virus? Valley Girl, like for sure. Need an infusion of young love and optimism, The Before Sunrise trilogy. Feeling dark? Blade Runner or Underworld. Need to laugh, Anchorman. For any reason in the world, The Empire Strikes Back. So what about you, what are your rainy day, sick in bed, pms, crappy day, or just because movies?
This week we had our house professionally photographed so that it can be listed for sale. I'm seriously hoping the photos don't turn out like these.
I learned how to pick my way out of a pair of handcuffs with a bobbie pin. I'm way more excited about that than I should be.
The tattoo on my back is 99% done! I had one of the last sessions this week. I'm very excited as it's been a long time coming and a lot of hours under the gun.
For some reason, making prints of our digital photographs is a really hard thing to do. Everyone that I know struggles with getting their pictures off their phones and computers and into books and onto paper. I'm writing an entire post about this but, in the meantime, one of my new favorite sources for amazing products and easy to print gift items and display coolness (like these wooden blocks with prints) is Artifact Uprising. It's especially easy if you use Instagram as it links up directly and you just drag and drop images. Love it.
Schmutzie shared this- quite possibly the funniest video commentary ever and it's also talking about something really important. Please watch, laugh and unleash your comments!
Today I had my zodiac chart done. Am I even saying that right? My birth chart? Anyway, I'm not an astrology person and, in fact, kinda filed it away under non-science, can't be true and not that interested. I officially rescind my position on that. If you want someone to look INSIDE YOUR FREAKING SOUL for an hour, call Kevin at Body Mind & Soul in Houston, Texas. I'm still reeling. It really was that good.
Happy weekend lovelies.
